With coronavirus travel restrictions, Wisconsin gas prices fall to new lows

Fuel selling prices in Wisconsin fell underneath $1 per gallon Thursday for the first time in decades as demand from customers for gasoline plummets throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

A Love’s station in Elkhorn was marketing frequent unleaded for 99 cents a gallon, money rate, while gasoline stations in Delavan, Wautoma, Appleton and in other places in the state posted selling prices ranging from 99 cents to $1.25.

In the Milwaukee region, rates continued to hover all-around $1.49 a gallon, according to Gasbuddy.com
