Adam and Eve’s sex and resident therapist Dr. Jenni Skyler has provided Mashable three tips for couples this season: create a short term goal; enlist daily check-ins; and really have sex.

It’s not just superstores who see a sales cut from self-segregation, either.

From the first week of March to the second, the Emojibator saw a 225 percent increase in overall sales (which includes wholesale, Amazon, and online stores), and a 345 percent increase in online store sales alone . They also sold two of their signature toys, the original Eggplant Emojibator and their dual clitoral-suction vibrator The Chickie.

“Demand for our products has skyrocketed this past week, in part because of all who stocked their favorite activities to stay home in Coronamania,” emojibator co-founder and CMO Kristin Fretz said in a statement an email statement. Before people began to self-quarantine in the United States, they had already felt the coronavirus effect in terms of longer delivery wait times, but were able to restock without significant delays.

Dame Products has reported a 30 percent increase in sales since February, seeing spikes in some major cities such as New York and Los Angeles. “So many aspects of our daily life make us feel human is not accessible today,” said Alexandra Fine, CEO and co-founder of Dame, Mashable. “Exploring your enjoyment is really a great way to feel alive during this weird time. More pleasure means better sleep, less stress, and overall improved well-being.”

To keep up with the demand, Emojibator will debut limited edition versions for their toys in the coming weeks. Fretz says, “With the same brand of shame-free our brand has developed, we encourage customers to stay a night of self-love to help prevent pandemic!”

Fine said that starting today, Dame will donate a percentage of its sales to the Food Bank of New York to help those in need at this time. “While our unique brand of ‘in-home entertainment’ has proven to be quite popular today,” he said, “we know that there is still much we can do to help people overcome the storm.”
