LEASINGCaringbah Danish Pty Ltd has leased a 645 sq m industrial property to scaffolding and access solutions company, Site-Wide Labour Services. The landholding at 52 Woodfield Boulevard features a light industrial yard.CBRE’s Nick Zenonos and Nathan Egan negotiated the one-year lease, with a one-year option, at $80 per square metre. The Bathla Group has expanded its operations with the lease of a second premises in Sydney’s west.Blacktown One of western Sydney’s leading construction companies, the Bathla Group, has taken a three-year lease on 3 Augusta Street for a gross rent of $300,000, plus GST. The agreement on the 4,500 sq m site includes an additional three-year option, to accompany the existing base it owns in the nearby Girraween.A 2,000 sq m, freestanding building with access via three rollers doors comes with an expansive yard and easy access to the Great Western Highway, M7 and M4. The lease is over various levels and different areas have staggered lease terms and will scale up as the demand for the project peaks in 2022. Aaron Bruce from Colliers International negotiated the deal.The Commonwealth of Australia has signed a lease in space at 40 Cameron Avenue, Belconnen, ACTWetherill Park Sunrise Medical Pty Ltd has signed a seven-year lease at a 14,920 sq m site 15 Daniel Street with two additional two-year options at $117.50 sq m from a private investor.It includes a building area of more than 6,000 sq m with a showroom, warehouse and office facilities, proximity to the M7 and M4 and visibility from The Horsley Drive. CBRE’s Elijah Shakir, Moshe Greengarten and John Micallef secured the lease.Sydney ActiveCampaign has leased an 863 sq m office at 233 Castlereagh Street from Vantage Offices for $900 per sq m under a two-year term. The deal was negotiated by Chris Rowe at Savills Australia.SALESSeven Hills An industrial facility in Seven Hills has sold for $7.015 million, setting a new building rate benchmark in Sydney’s north-west. A 2283 sq m property, 5 Tollis Place, has been purchased by an owner-occupier which represents a rate of $3073 per sq m. The modern, freestanding office and warehouse space offers clearance of up to 8.6 metres and access via two roller doors. Mr Aird exited Lendlease late last year. The sale of the mega engineering business to Acciona has since been announced, while the Services business remains on the market. Toby Rakison has been appointed to a leadership role in Asia, based in Singapore.Colliers International Colliers International have expanded their flexible workspace specialisation, with the appointment of Jonathan Kearins into occupier services, based in the Sydney CBD.
