PARIS — Perhaps no other sporting activities function puts so a lot of followers in such near call with athletes as the Tour de France. But not like nearly each other major sporting party this summer months, the Tour has yet to be identified as off regardless of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

For now, the start off date remains June 27 — and there is a probability that the race could be held without any enthusiasts lining the system.

France’s sports minister Roxana Mărăcineanu reported the Tour can continue to exist in a time of social distancing. Mărăcineanu says staging the race devoid of lovers “would not be so disadvantageous since we could check out it on tv.”
