All it took was one episode of Small fires everywhere for fans to obsess over Joshua Jackson and his painting of Bill Richardson. On Wednesday, the actor – who also includes the days until his and his daughter Jodie Turner-Smith was born – jumped on a Skype interview with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest to discuss the infamous scene for underwear in the first episode of the Hulu miniseries. “I didn’t know what a hit these were,” Jackson said. “Who knew all these years what I missed in my career ran parade in my tight ways ?!”
When asked if he had any problems with the revelation scene alongside his wife on screen Reese Witherspoon, as the big reaction it had online, Jackson was unbelievably cool. He kicked it off and pretended he didn’t hate it. “I’m in my forties now, I enjoy objectivity.” He didn’t even know how, erm, visually, the scene was until the episode came out. “I looked at it and I was like, ‘Oh! Yeah, that’s a lot.’ Not much left to the imagination there! ”Check out the interview Living with Kelly and Ryan above and check out the best references from the 90s of the show.
