Impacto helping battle COVID-19 one mask at a time

A neighborhood organization is stepping up to assist in the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shortage of health care tools.

Impacto, a Belleville company that makes protecting devices for the occupation web site, is turning their sights to guarding physicians, nurses, and initially responders.  The masks can also be worn by clients.

Eric Lehtinen is president of Impacto and states they have started to producer a washable encounter mask that can be worn on the front traces.

He suggests it all began with the important gradual down in trade past month.

He says they took a search at what they have in dwelling, which involves a stitching store.  He suggests they are one of the previous corporations in Ontario and maybe even Canada that has a lower and sew store.

Up coming, he asked the question, what can we use that we have in the plant to protect folks?

Lehtinen suggests in excess of the weekend they came up with a design, and set up the output line and got to get the job done.

The mask is a 4-way stretch polycotton, masks are 40% polyester, 40% cotton, 20% lycra.  They are called Impacto Waiting around Place Masks,
