Merriment on Main presents a complete entertainment program - The Reporter

Unless there is some kind of change in the weather, the forecast asks for a rest in the rain for the joy of Tuesday night in the main lighting of the Christmas tree.

However, even if it rains, the festivities will continue as scheduled. As demonstrated last year, no amount of bad weather can stop the official start of the Vacaville holiday season.

Jennifer Hamilton, vice president of Merriment on Main, said the Board of Directors eagerly checked the weather every hour on Monday to make sure the sky was clear by Tuesday. So far, the forecasts looked promising.

"It seems that we will be lucky," he said.

As always, the entertainment of the main stage and the lighting of the trees will be carried out with rain or sun. However, Hamilton said that some of the entertainment reserved for the other stages may depend on the weather and the willingness of the artists to perform in it.
